Scraper chain conveyor is a kind of transporting equipment that can continuously transport bulk materials by means of moving chains in the closed rectangular casing.
Scraper chain conveyor mainly consists of a head section with the driving device; connect section, tail section, tension device, as well as scraper and chains.
MS scraper chain conveyor is used for horizontal or slightly inclined transport of bulk materials.
When the scraper chain conveyor transports horizontally, the pressure which comes from chains in conveying direction to the materials, and the action which comes from the materials themselves cause internal friction. This friction ensures a stable situation between material layers, and it can overcome external frictional resistance caused by moving materials in the trough and making materials transport as a whole fluid.
